Shipping & Handling
Your order should usually ship within 3-4 business days following order confirmation. Please allow up to 1-2 additional days for orders placed on holidays, through website promotion periods or extended weekends. We are a very small operation, so occasionally it takes a little longer, but we are getting speedier by the day!
Shipping is available within the US and international addresses. We can deliver to PO Boxes.
We also ship to US Territories, Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO/DPO addresses, which requires additional time for delivery and may be subject to delivery restrictions based on the item type, weight and size. Please allow additional time for delivery to these types of addresses.
Alternate Addresses
You may choose to deliver your package to your billing address, an alternate address, or as a gift to a second recipient. If you would like to include a gift enclosure with a hand-written message, please indicate that in the box provided by leaving your message to the recipient.
Messages are limited to 150 characters.
Delivery and Transit Times
PLEASE NOTE!!! We offer a First Class shipping option to be able to offer the cheapest possible way to get you your goodies, but this option is SLOW and does not come with a tracking number.
There will be a variety of shipping options provided to you at checkout which may include estimated ship times and rates.
First Class : Packages weighing 14oz or less, sent through USPS mail. Anywhere from 3 to 10 business days in transit, though usually faster.
Priority Ground: Packages weighing 15oz or higher, sent through USPS or UPS (our discretion). Usually 2-5 business days, most affordable option for speedy shipping.
Overnight-2day : Please note that orders placed on a Friday will not be shipped until the following business day. Depending on destination, the package will arrive from USPS Express in 1-2 days.
International First-Class : Packages weighing 4lbs or less, insured where applicable, sent USPS. Anywhere from 5 business days to 4 weeks or more.
International Priority : Packages weighing 4lbs or more shipped USPS. Anywhere from 5 business days to 4 weeks or more.
If you prefer a specific method of shipping, including UPS 2-day Air or otherwise, please contact us at customercare[at]curlygirldesign.com and we will work with you to ensure accurate delivery time. Please note that there may be an additional charge for services such as 2-Day and Overnight UPS shipments.
Canvases will often ship separately from other items in the same order. There is no additional charge for this split shipment, and all other items will ship together 2-3 business days from order date.
Tracking Your Package
All packages are sent with a tracking number that is emailed to customers once their order has shipped. Please ensure we have an accurate email address so you receive your receipts and tracking information. If you have not received your tracking number, feel free to contact us at weborders[at]curlygirldesign.com and we can provide that to you.
Shipping Cost
The shipping cost varies and is dependent on package weight, shipping distance, and selected delivery time upon checkout. Our rates are automatically populated by our shipping system and reflect current rates for USPS and UPS. We do our best to pack boxes as safely as possible, with the least amount of additional packing materials to ensure the lowest possible weight.
Canvas orders generally ship separately from other items in an order, there is no additional charge for this second shipment.
For delivery to US Territories, Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO/DPO addresses, there are no additional shipping costs.
Missing or Undelivered Packages
Curly Girl Design is not responsible for lost, stolen, or otherwise undeliverable packages. We will work with you and shipping providers to the best of our ability to ensure your package is delivered without issue. It is the customers responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information to Curly Girl Design, including floor, suite, or apartment numbers where applicable. Once the item has left our warehouse, we unfortunately have no additional way to track your package other than using the tracking number and contacting the local UPS or USPS location. If you are having a difficult time locating your package, please contact your local post office or UPS location.
