Who is Curly Girl

Well, Curly Girl Design is the creative endeavor of artist Leigh Standley!  So I guess she’s Curly Girl, but really, there’s a little ‘curly girl’ in all of us.  Leigh’s the big cheese, if you will, and she’s got a small team behind her making the magic happen in the day-to-day at Curly Girl HQ.  You can learn about all of us here!

Where are your products made?

Curly Girl prides itself on making as all of our products with love, either domestically or overseas, and utilizes other small businesses to help us make our products.  Nearly all our paper products are printed right here at home in the States, with our cards coming from a shop just down the street from HQ! Our licensed products are made in a mixture of domestic and overseas locations.  Canvases are lovingly handmade in North America.

How Green is Curly Girl?

We are absolutely dedicated to being an environmentally-conscious company. Most of our paper products are printed with soy-based inks and are made of recyclable materials.  Our cards are sleeved in recyclable plastic, as are our magnets, notepads, and matted prints.  We re-use packing materials for shipments, including popcorn, paper, air-bubbles, and foam, and our boxes are all made of recycled and recyclable cardboard.

As you can imagine, an office that doubles as a warehouse/shipping facility can accumulate a lot of waste.  This is why we have a local recycling company pick up what we can not re-use in shipments including a lot of cardboard, shredded paper, plastics and other waste that accumulates from day-to-day activity.

We also work with a number of local manufacturers and warehouses which help us cut down on freight times when moving product around.
