Man that went fast! I feel like it was just Thanksgiving and wham! Christmas is this week. My head is spinning (and my feet are aching) from it all. Retail (and wholesale) around the holidays is both exhilarating and exhausting, but we never find ourselves short on cheer… just on time.
I always wish that there were about 10 extra days to enjoy the season… leave the tree and the lights up, enjoy each other, have a little break….stave off January just a little while. Who do I talk to about that?
The babies (er… toddlers…) have made this year so much more fun. We are learning about Santa (but heck no! We are NOT sitting on that guy’s lap!) and can both say “Ho Ho Ho!” with the proper gusto. Ruby has gotten a special week at Grandma’s house all by herself and they have been baking and decorating the tree while Graham gets alone time with Mom & Dad. (After Christmas we switch!) It has been weird and we miss her, but kind of awesome to have just one for awhile. Just the ability to scoop one up and go out and run errands has been a revelation and getting some full attention has really made Graham shine.
We are looking forward to a little break, and after Christmas, I will be signing off the internet until the new year. So, from my family to yours, and from all of us at Curly Girl Design, THANK YOU for being out there and supporting us in all the ways that you do. We wish you peace, health and abundance of love in this season and the coming year. Hold each other tight.
