Happy Autumn Equinox! I love summer (a LOT) but I might love this shoulder season just a tiny bit more. Probably because I like to wear sweatshirts most of all, but also because it is the season of magic. Of turning in. Of honoring. It is also the season of Alice Hoffman. Every year I re-read (re-listen to) my favorite books of hers, The Rules of Magic and The Book of Magic, and it puts me in the mood to hunker down, put the garden to bed, and get ready for the longer nights.yeezy boost 350 v2 hyperspace NCAA Jerseys brock purdy jersey keyvone lee jersey dallas cowboys slippers mens smith and soul OSU Jerseys best human hair wigs for black females penn state jersey bouncing putty egg blow up two person kayak College Rugby Jersey jordan air force 1 jordan max aura 4 stetson casquettes
It is also time to start planning the kid’s Halloween costumes! If you have been following me on social media for any length of time you know that I get a little bit into Halloween costumes. As my kids just turned 9 (How!?) I can feel the end of letting-your-mom-make-your-
My cousin and I have the tradition of putting together group costumes for the 9-year old cousins, and my very patient brother and sister-in-law indulge us when we can all be together for the holiday. We have decided on another fun group costume for this year… any guesses? Hint: I have secured a wig and knee socks so far…
My Current Favorite Card
The message that’s on the Same Time Greeting Card is something that I was routinely writing to my friends INSIDE of a card. So a few years ago I decided to put it on the front of a card. I use this card all of the time. It has been coming up for me a bunch lately…this concept that we are all here at the same time. We all chose (I believe) to be here, on earth, during this time. This particular time.
We are all connected by that. As we are connected by so many things…it is always what I am trying to figure out when I meet someone or end up in a place. I am sure it is for many valiant reasons, but I for one came for the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Imagine choosing the 1800s when there were no Reese’s? Ugh.
Thank you for letting me share, and for sharing with me. I am so glad to be alive at the same time as you.
P.S.: The Same Time design is also available as a made-to-order customs canvas print. These beautiful canvases are gallery wrapped and perfect to fill any space in your home that needs a little Curly Girl love. The canvas measures 21×21 inches.
