This week has been chalk full of crazy. Not enough hours in the day, not enough days in the week. Full of deadlines, meetings, and all the things that make me occasionally wish I was a park ranger instead. Don't get me wrong, I TOTALLY love what I do, and feel lucky lucky lucky to get to do it…but I am going to come right out and say it: RUNNING A BUSINESS IS HARD. It will occasionally make you want to throw fits. The kind where you kick your legs and pound the ground with your fists and it will occasionally make you want to be the kid who takes her ball and goes home. But that is never really an option.
It will also occasionally surprise and delight you and will more often than not make you super proud of yourself and the people who are on this journey with you. It will without question raise your standards for yourself and those people and will even impress you with how vast your limits actually are and what you are actually capable of.
But this week, if I were playing kickball with me and my business, I would have walked right up to us, kicked us in the shins, grabbed my ball and gone home.
That said, I did make this. And I love it. Hope you do too!
