Happy Columbus Day! In honor of this festive occasion I have chosen to stay home, stay in spandex and veg out. Well, fruit out.
I’m making pie. I have been on a journey for awhile now to try and perfectly recreate my Nana’s streusel-top apple pie. The recipe that went to the grave with her but that has never left my culinary heart. I have come close many times, but I am hoping that the federal holiday will give me the edge.
